Console TV Makeovers
I have an old console TV that i was thinking I should do something with. I Googled console TV makeovers and found this website that has several ideas. Here are 2 of my favorites.
I really love this one. It would look great with a couple baskets on the shelves.
What a great idea! It's like having a functional piece of furniture and a dog bed all in one. AND it doesn't cost hundreds of dollars.
You can see more ideas at http://www.curbly.com/users/diy-maven/posts/13452-round-up-5-fantastic-tv-makeovers

Tv Stand Makeover
This is a great DIY project idea. You see these old TV stands at garage sales, auctions, second hand and thrift stores. You can usually pick them up really cheap because people just want to get rid of them.
I found these pictures at http://www.bellemaison23.com/2011/05/diy-furniture-makeovers.html .
The link to the original source did not work, so there is no tutorial, but I think you can get ideas just from the picture. I love the addition of the legs.

This manmade marvel took 5 years to complete.Chile’s monster pool uses a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other.
